My name is Chad Peterson, am owner and chief Designer at Sparkhouse Creative Design / TechWorX Media, a graphic design company specializing in small business branding and graphic design. I am also a paid-on-call firefighter (hence the name SparkHouse). As an accomplished creative professional with more than 10 years of experience in the fields of communication design, marketing, and creative design, I am well versed in the latest tools and best practices for logo and brand development, print production, and web design.
I’m wickedly passionate for well designed & functional media. I’m a Swiss Army knife; knowledgeable and curious about most things; expert in select areas. [/sws_blockquote]Over the years, I have mastered such programs as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Coda, and just about any tool that helps me create and develop. My design eye helps bring the art of design functionality to life with easy to follow interfaces, and well through-out design. I am very passionate about the graphic design business and take pride in showing that through my work, giving your project the personal attention and professional quality your design deserves. I see one of my major strengths being my adaptability. I am able to jump easily from being a designer, to a coder, to software and hardware technician, to decision maker. This adaptability can also be seen in my design work where I am able handle any task I’m given, be it web, multimedia, motion, branding, or print.

From small projects to full branding and ad campaigns, I listen, design and deliver. In the interactive space, I’m a salty-old sea captain at this point. I began building sites in ‘96 on Prodigy for Rage Against the Machine to trade bootleg concert tapes. I’ve been in this long enough to know what a BBS is; when 14.4 kbps was a serious speed upgrade and how amazing animated GIFs where when they arrived on the scene. My professional experience covers everything from promotional material for print and web, to web-site appearance and logo/branding/packaging design for domestic and international clients.
